Foley, Margaret (15 Mar. 1875–14 June 1957), suffragist and Boston city official, was born in the Boston neighborhood of Dorchester, Massachusetts, the daughter of Peter Foley, a laborer, and Mary Foley (maiden name unknown). Her parents and several older siblings were born in Ireland.
