Ladejinsky, Wolf Isaac (15 March 1899–03 July 1975), agricultural economist, was born in Ekaterinopol, Ukraine, then part of the Russian empire, the son of a prosperous Jewish miller and trader. His parents’ names are unknown. Attracted to learning from an early age, Ladejinsky completed his secondary studies at a nearby Gymnasium.
