Cleveland, Emeline Horton (22 September 1829–08 December 1878), surgeon, medical professor, and dean at the Woman's Medical College of Pennsylvania, surgeon, medical professor, and dean at the Woman’s Medical College of Pennsylvania, was born in Ashford, Connecticut, the daughter of Chauncey Horton and Amanda Chaffee, farmers.
