Dyer, Mary (?–01 June 1660), religious martyr, was born Mary Barrett. Nothing is known of her birthplace, parentage, or life before 1635 other than that she married William Dyer, a prosperous merchant, on 27 October 1633 in the parish church of St. Martin-in-the-Fields, London, and that the first of their six children, born 24 October 1634, was buried three days later.
