Pride Month

June 4, 2019

Pride Month is marked around the world in June to celebrate queer identities and the impact LGBT people have had on the world. This year marks 50 years since the famous Stonewall riots, a series of demonstrations by members of the LGBT community, which led to gay rights organizations being founded on a global scale.

This month at the ANB we are celebrating Pride Month by honouring LGBT activists who trailblazed the way to a wider appreciation of LGBTQ+ identities in the present day.
