Warner, Jonathan Trumbull (20 November 1807–11 April 1895), California ranchero, was born in Lyme, New London County, Connecticut, the son of Selden Warner and Dorothy Selden, occupations unknown. A direct descendant of Puritans who had settled in New England in the 1630s, Warner left Connecticut at the age of twenty-two due to failing health.
