Oland, Warner (03 October 1880–06 August 1938), movie actor, was born Jonah Werner Ölund in Umea, Vesterbötten, Sweden. His father, Jonas Ölund, was Swedish; his mother, Maria (maiden name unknown), Russian. When he was thirteen, his family immigrated to the United States and settled on a farm in Connecticut.
