Coriat, Isador Henry (10 December 1875–26 May 1943), psychoanalyst, was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the son of Harry Coriat, a Jewish native of Morocco who emigrated to the United States from France in 1867, and Clara Einstein. When Isador was about four years old, the family moved to Boston, where his father established a cigar-manufacturing business.
