Graham, John (1774–06 August 1820), diplomat and public official, was born in Dumfries, Virginia, the son of Richard Graham, a prosperous Scot merchant, and Jane Brent. He attended Columbia College, graduating in 1790. Graham subsequently moved to Mason County in northeastern Kentucky and in 1800 represented the area in the state legislature.
