Farrah Fawcett
Farrah Fawcett (1947–2009) became an international star thanks to her portrayal of private detective Jill Munroe in the hit series Charlie’s Angels in 1976. She also became a sex symbol; a poster of Fawcett in a red swimsuit sold over ten million posters. Fawcett won plaudits as a serious dramatic actress in the 1980s. Her final act was the television documentary Farrah’s Story, which chronicled her fatal battle against cancer.
