Pearson, Marguerite Stuber (01 August 1899–02 April 1978), painter, was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Arthur G. Pearson, a confectioner, and Ottelia M. Stuber. Brought up as an Episcopalian, the precocious Pearson was educated in Somerville, Massachusetts, public schools, drew caricatures of people with pencil and charcoal before she was five, and learned to play piano and guitar solos by the age of ten....
