Lindeberg, Harrie Thomas (10 April 1879–10 January 1959), architect, was born Harry Thomas Lindberg at Bergen Point, New Jersey, the son of Theodore Lindberg and Augusta Osterlund. Both of his parents were born in Sweden and had emigrated to the United States before their children were born. The family was counted in the 1880 census as residing in Hoboken, where Theodore Lindberg’s occupation was listed as “dealer, neck ties.” Virtually nothing is known of Harrie Lindeberg’s education or upbringing until the age of twenty-two, when he appears in the office books of the architectural firm of McKim, Mead & White in New York. He worked there from February 1901 until March 1906....
